Building My Mother's Dream Orange County Kitchen

When I was growing up around the Orange County, California area life was easy. We had a great house that my father had practically paid off and I had a wonderful mother who was truly an amazingly resourceful chef. She' could create delicious, three-course meals out of whatever she could find in the refrigerator. This talent became very important after my father died and my mother had to work twice as hard to keep the ever-growing stomachs of my 2 brothers and I full. Growing up in Orange County with a single parent was a perspective broadening experience. It was difficult keeping up with the Jones while we were surrounded by so many families who were ostensibly well-off but my mother always made sure that we had enough to eat and clean clothes out our backs. I always knew that one day I'd pay her back for all those tireless nights she spent in our kitchen.

Now that I'm older and my career is on the fast track I know that its time to get my sweet mother her dream kitchen. She's still living out near Laguna Hills and I've been making a long list of all the ways to improve her worn down kitchen. I figured the first step on this long but rewarding process was removing our old countertop and installing a huge, heavy granite countertop. Not to mention that I want to support a local business but after calling around looking for the best Orange County kitchen countertop distributor it became clear that a "fits on top" solution would be my best option. I'd save loads of time during the installation process and because of the durability of their trend stone countertops it would be the perfect long-term remodeling solution.
