Huawei has relesed details on its upcoming cellular hotspot, the E583c. The battery powered device is pocketable and has a slim, streamlined design that runs against ype. it will share a 3.5 HSPA connection over Wi-Fi with upto five other devices, one through USB, and doubles as a microSDHC reader.

The device is technically similar to the company's existing MiFi E585 only offered in the uk and somewhat likke its counterpart, has a one inch OLED display that will show the router's status the network its on as well as the strength and battery level.it can support 5.76Mbps upload speeds and 7.2Mbps ddownload speed.

Huawei will sell the E583 for the equivalent of $178 in Hong kong. There is no indication when or if the device will arrive in North America.
