Avatar is on course to become the highest grossing film of all time, making $1.14bn (£700m) since its release less than three weeks ago.
James Cameron film Avatar has overtaken the 1.12 bn$ box office earnings made by The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Reporters report that it's for sure that the Avatar ticket sales across the world will soon overtake the top Titanic sales of $1.84 bn.
In December Cameron said," Well, the movie Avatar can be a part of trilogy".
"I feel I have to make the second one now", said Cameron excited by the sales of film across the globe.
"I have a story for the second and third part too, but my lips are sealed now", he said.
