Harry Potter - Theme park in Florida

You've read the books and seen the movies, so what's next? A Harry Potter theme park, of course!

Officials confirmed Tuesday that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, first announced in 2007, will open in the spring at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida. Working closely with author J.K. Rowling and top art and design producers from the movies, Universal is trying to re-create the look and feel of Hogwarts.

Once inside the 20-acre attraction, complete with a 15-story castle, you'll be able to order butterbeer or pumpkin juice at the Three Broomsticks restaurant. Need to buy a gift? You might try Ollivander's, an interactive store where the wand chooses the wizard, or Zonko's, a joke and trick shop selling such gear as extendable ears and boxing telescopes.

For entertainment, there will be the Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff roller coasters. Or go inside the castle, where Universal executives said a variety of new technologies will be used to re-create the magic, stories and characters of Harry Potter.
