How to Disable 3G on Samsung Vibrant
Step 1. From the Home screen, touch Menu, then select Settings.
Step 2. Select Wireless and Network.
Step 3. Select Mobile networks.
Step 4. Touch Use only 2G networks.
Now a check mark displays next to this option to indicate that it is active. Please know that connecting to 2G networks slows the data transfer speed and time.
