Well I am here to tell you it is not easy, but it certainly can be done. There are a few things you will need to take into consideration before you begin

Too often we just think we want to work from home because we wouldn't have to travel, we save money on gas and we can spend more time with our family. You have to take quite a few things into consideration before you apply for these jobs.

First of all, make yourself a list of your strength, the things you are good at doing. Also, make another list of the type of jobs you have already had and what tasks you already know how to perform. By taking the two lists and melding them into one, you will know what direction to take.

Just think, if you could do your current job, but from the comfort of your home, would that be a benefit? Maybe you cannot stand your current job, so doing it from home would not make a difference, you would still hate it.

You have to find something that allows you to do the tasks you enjoy doing. Spend a lot of time reviewing the company and what they are offering when you think you found a good fit. Unfortunately, there seems to be a high amount of online job postings that are scams or that require you to pay them money to get started.

Although legitimate online job posting might require you to subscribe or purchase access to the jobs, please be very careful about what you will get when you do this. Find out all you can about the online business before you send them any money for anything.

Once you find legitimate jobs online, review each job posting to make sure what the requirements are and if you meet them. Do not waste your time and the company's time in applying for online job postings that you are not qualified for.
